Sales Associate - Castleford - £12.60 - 15 Hours

Our client is a globally renowned brand known for its premium quality and innovation, seeking an enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate in Castleford. This is a key leadership role where you'll partner with the Store Manager to drive store performance, lead a dynamic team, and ensure customers enjoy a top-tier experience every time they visit.
As a Sales Associate, you'll be a role model and a brand ambassador, inspiring your team to meet and exceed targets. You'll play a pivotal role in creating an outstanding customer journey and fostering a positive, results-driven store culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be a brand ambassador and help achieve the store sales and conversion targets.
2. Ensure each customer receives an incredible customer journey through outstanding customer service and living the brand values.
3. Offer exceptional 1-2-1 customer service and ensure the customer comes first.
4. Knowledgeable about the benefits and uses of each product and continuously develop your product knowledge and understanding of the business.
5. Knowledge and awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
6. Support Store Management team in achieving individual and store sales targets.
7. Execute the daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
8. Deal with customer concerns in a patient and helpful manner and communicate the concerns with Store Management.
9. Maintain product merchandising, monitor shop floor inventory and replenish new products when needed.
10. Assist and process deliveries and organisation of stock room, ensuring teamwork.
11. Operate cash registers, take and record orders through a computerised system in person or over the phone and close daily revenue.
12. Be responsive and communicate all Health & Safety issues.
13. Participate in team meetings by bringing fresh ideas that are realistic and achievable.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
2. Proven track record in team development, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and exceeding sales targets.
3. Strong commercial awareness with the drive to meet and exceed sales goals.
4. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a natural ability to lead by example.
5. A proactive, 'can-do' attitude, with the ability to solve problems and preempt challenges.
6. Highly organised, able to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and confident with a strong sense of professionalism.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the business needs.
9. Smart, presentable appearance with a passion for maintaining high standards.
