Main Responsibilities: Working in accordance with IHGs values, and IHG policies and procedures, you will provide high quality care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurses /ODPs Responsibilities include: Assist with assessment of the patient to ensure optimal fitness for surgery, including giving post-operative care and instructions. The post holder will work within their scope of practice, adhering to IHG policy. The post holder will manage their own caseload efficiently with support from the team to deliver timely care. To liaise with clinic staff and the referral team ensuring patients meet IHG and ICB criteria. To undertake telephone post operative and pre-operative assessment of patients, Help to ensure all test results or repeat observations are available for the day of surgery. Monitor and report on patient conditions to the pre and post operative assessment team. To assist in the planning and organisation of pre- and post-operative patient care by liaising with other Primary Care providers. Undertake post-operative and follow up calls to the patients. To keep accurate and timely patient records. To assist in the delivery high quality patient care, which is clinically effective, and evidence based. To participate in reviewing and enhancing standards of care.
