Job Overview
Responsible for the effective delivery of catering services across 4 busy distribution centres for B&Q. Purposeful in client, customer and colleague engagement. Able to build and maintain professional working relationships that include a monthly client KPI meeting.
Has the ability to work under pressure, ensuring that all collaborative functions, for example, PDQ machines, food deliveries, and colleague availability meets the client expectations and deliver a service on a daily basis.
An innovative thinker who can provide appetising and healthy menu options that will drive sales and keep waste to a minimum. To ensure the efficient and effective delivery of catering operations and designated services to B&Q in accordance with the contract and local preferences
-Effective leadership of the team to ensure the availability of sufficient resources to provide the services during opening times
-Providing guidance and direction to each manager
-To deliver a personalised service to each location unique to it's identity
-To identify opportunities & innovation for business growth & development focussing on latest trends and best practices in the sector
-Visiting the buildings and engaging & developing customer relationships across the contract.
-Attending, regional and national meetings improving the performance and quality of planned work, reactive repairs, and small works is the very best driving the excellence everyday culture.
Main Duties
The provision of a varied and compliant service that is of high quality and delivers culinary satisfaction. Providing an environment where people can flourish and are rewarded for an excellent service to an array of clients.
Responsible for HSE compliance delivered at each location, including the notice board content, including responsibility for food safety governance, compliance for this sector
-Leadership & Management of the four managers, demonstrating excellent organisation, use of time, whilst following process & procedure
-Meet and or exceed budget Targets set within the account, utilising reports and effective and efficient team management
-Identify additional revenue opportunities in line with appropriate targets
-Direct leadership of WIP and drive to reduce this by ensuring high levels of First Time Fix and ensuring a strong partnership exists with the Engineering Planners
-Management of Subcontractors where your team cannot self-deliver and strive to reduce reliance
-Excellent relationship with all stakeholders
-Flexible to the demands of a managerial role
What we are looking for
A person who is able to demonstrate experience of direction within an FM business including catering food services, who can take responsibility of managing client relationships.
Capable of organising and managing accurate rota's, someone passionate about customer satisfaction. Equally at ease as part of a team or working on their own initiative.
