This is an exciting opportunity to join the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) as a Corporate Liaison Officer, where no two days are the same.
The role will present an excellent opportunity to work alongside a wide range of people, providing an insight into all areas of the agency.
The Corporate Liaison Officer provides quality responses to correspondence, often of a high-profile nature, from varied audiences, providing a quality service to customers (internal and external), upholding our corporate reputation, working with stakeholders to manage their needs and expectations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Drafting and managing accurate and concise responses to correspondence from varied audiences, including, but not limited to: correspondence sent to the Chief Executive from the public, and Members of Parliament, Treat Official correspondence, and other forms of correspondence.
* Providing a quality service to our customers (internal and external), upholding the agency’s and team’s reputation, working with stakeholders to manage their needs and expectations.
* Provide, as needed, statistical and narrative data for Ministers, Senior DfT officials, and DVSA directors.
* Attend and engage at meetings with various departments and stakeholders, both internal and external, to represent the team.
* Work in collaboration with other colleagues across all functions for the good of DVSA and to create a high performing and well-respected Agency.
