The Sales Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the sales team and driving the growth of our client’s retail business. This position will involve working closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth sales process, from identifying new opportunities to after-sales support. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and is eager to develop their career in luxury retail.
Key responsibilities of the Sales Assistant – Luxury Watch Retail:
* Identify Sales Opportunities: Assist the team in identifying new sales leads and potential clients through research and direct outreach.
* Client Engagement: Actively respond to inquiries via email, telephone, and social media, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to customers.
* Client Meetings: Schedule and attend client meetings, presenting product offerings, answering questions, and providing tailored recommendations to meet customer needs.
* Customer Database Management: Maintain and update customer databases with accurate contact details, sales activity, and follow-up notes.
* Collaborate on Sales Proposals: Work with the sales team to create purchasing quotes and tailored sales proposals for customers.
* Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the sales team, including preparing sales invoices, valuations, and updating the stock database.
* Order Processing: Assist in processing customer orders and ensure timely delivery, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
* Product Knowledge: Stay current on product features, industry trends, and competitor activities, continually enhancing your knowledge of luxury watches to better assist clients
Key Requirements of the Sales Assistant – Luxury Watch Retail:
* Experience: Previous sales or customer service experience in a B2C environment such as Telesales, Retail Sales, Car Sales or similar customer facing role
* Luxury Watch Market Knowledge (Preferred): Experience with or a strong interest/passion for the luxury watch market
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
* Microsoft Office Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for daily tasks and reporting
* Motivated & Eager to Learn: Highly motivated with a strong desire to develop a career in sales and luxury retail
* Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
* Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail
* Positive Attitude: A passion for sales and a positive, proactive attitude toward work
