Estates Intelligence teams utilize the ‘6 As’ Methodology to deliver business benefits by deploying their ‘Viaverse’ platform to enable aggregation, automation, assurance, audit, and analytics for enhanced asset management across clients' portfolios.
About the Role
KBR Government Services (GS) EMEA mobilizes, maintains, and develops ‘integrator’ platforms to enable public sector (mainly central government) clients to manage large and complex estate portfolios required to deliver critical services to the public. Central to GS EMEA’s technical platform is Concept Evolution, deployed across five client platforms managing large volumes of transactional data, integrated with multiple supplier systems, and using complex automated business rules developed by our specialized in-house CAFM team to ensure data integrity and transactional fidelity.
You will join this thriving team, deploying your technical and functional experience to help GS EMEA deliver technical and functional enhancements and product support to existing clients, and assist in developing the core solution for future clients. You will likely have software vendor experience with the product or have led a team that has developed and deployed Concept Evolution in-house to operate at scale. You will be comfortable being a technical senior in a development team, working in an Agile environment and contributing to product development. You will be client-facing and able to translate technical complexity into business language and vice versa.
The role is responsible to the Sr CAFM Development Lead for:
1. Developing technical specifications to deliver the requirements, or updating existing specifications where they exist.
2. Leading the development of technical solutions, using Workflow Pro for business rule automation, understanding database schema for integration requirements.
3. Understanding and contributing to data modeling and data management best practices within the product.
4. Documenting and undertaking unit testing of own development; assisting or overseeing unit, system, and integration testing and/or regression testing of the wider team’s development.
5. Leading robust change and release management, including moving developments between environments and promoting development to production environments, including documentation handover to service management and support colleagues.
6. Contributing to internal and external technical governance, change governance, and project governance.
7. Assisting project management colleagues with project progress reporting, technical milestone reporting, and technical risk identification and mitigation.
8. Internal colleague relationship management and opportunity development.
9. Understanding current and industry best practices and developments in their domain and providing this intelligence back into the business.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Extensive experience writing code using SQL, VB, .NET, C#.
* Experience with API technologies and writing Restful APIs in JSON.
* Degree qualified, preferably in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or similar experience within the process and/or systems.
* Hold, have held, or are eligible to apply for Security Clearance to CTC.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of and experience configuring Concept Evolution FM system (v.4.6 and above).
* 3+ years practical experience utilizing the Concept Workflow Pro Module to code bespoke automation into Concept.
* Experience in installing and configuring Concept Evolution in on-premises environments.
* Experience in installing and configuring Concept Evolution in cloud environments (especially MS Azure).
* Experience working directly with client users, understanding requirements, and helping to turn business requirements into functional requirements and build solutions.
* Full UK driving license.
The role can be based at Leatherhead or Swindon – 3 days a week in the office & 2 days a week remote.
