Role: Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance Supervisor / Lead Engineer (50% management & 50% hands on)
Salary: £50,000 to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for further progression and training opportunities
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm + every other weekend with 2 days off in the week - your choice of days off

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance Supervisor / Lead Engineer to work within a large industrial company at one of their automated factories.
Responsibilities
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, your role is to oversee all maintenance and technical work in the factory, both proactively and reactively, leading a maintenance and technical team of up to 15 staff members on shift. This role requires a "hands on" approach with an estimated split of 50% management and 50% hands on. In challenging situations, this person will actively support the machinery as needed.
This role focuses on bringing a sense of positivity and enthusiasm to the team, driving a continuous improvement culture, and providing support, guidance, training, and delegation of work to the team. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling work, utilizing and maximizing the CMMS system, minimizing downtime, establishing solutions for recurring problems, and providing necessary training to engineers through upskilling and development. Health and safety compliance is also a key responsibility, ensuring all correct PPE is provided and worn, and that proper procedures are followed.

Requirements
1. Completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship and/or hold relevant engineering qualifications.
2. Management experience of a team of Engineers, in roles such as Maintenance Team Leader, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager, etc.
3. Experience in a similar environment, such as Production, Manufacturing, Automation, or Industrial.
4. Strong staff / people management skills and experience; the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team is essential.
5. Familiarity with a maintenance management system and delegation of work to a team.
6. Ability to prioritize and delegate workload and use initiative in a fast-paced production environment.
7. Experience promoting Health & Safety and Compliance Procedures.
8. Computer literate.
