An excellent opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, committed, adaptable individual with an interest in working in Pharmacy Aseptics.
The successful applicant will become part of a busy team working within our licensed aseptic unit at Singleton Hospital, offering a high-quality service to our Health Board patients. The aseptic unit provides a wide range of injectable medicines in a ready-to-use form, including cytotoxic chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody therapies, parenteral nutrition, and clinical trials medicines.
Main duties of the job
The work will include cleaning, monitoring & maintenance of equipment & facilities, stock management of medicines & consumables, assembly of batches & orders, and the aseptic preparation & dispensing of medicines.
Previous pharmacy experience is recommended. Applicants will be expected to undergo training and successfully achieve NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services following appointment.

* Previous relevant experience of working in a Pharmacy, healthcare manufacturing, or laboratory or scientific environment.
Skills/Knowledge
* Ability to work to a full range of local pharmacy codes and procedures.
Qualifications
* GCSEs as per PS
* NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent.
