A well-known, high profile and forward-thinking organisation based in Manchester City Centre is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join them on an interim 3 months basis to help oversee a HR transformation project. This role is full-time with 1 or 2 days a week in their city centre offices and the rest working from home. The successful candidate will have solid experience working for large scale businesses and a track record of leading HR initiatives and system implementations. This role offers a day rate of £400 per day, inside of IR35.
Day-to-day duties may include:
1. Lead HR transformation initiatives and system implementations
2. Develop and support HR strategic plans and programs
3. Manage multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity and scope
4. Conduct needs assessments and prepare business cases for HR initiatives
5. Monitor project budgets and resource allocation
6. Support with the design and implementation of recruitment strategies for diverse roles and levels
7. Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements
8. Guide hiring managers through selection and offer processes
9. Analyse existing HR processes and identify areas for improvement
10. Design and document new HR procedures and workflows
11. Implement HR best practices and industry standards
12. Create and maintain HR policies and procedures
13. Develop HR metrics and analytics frameworks
The successful candidate will have solid HR Consultant and HR Business Partner level experience, experience with strategic HR projects including system implementations, recruitment, and implementing HR processes and procedures, alongside coaching managers and assisting with ER best practices. You will be confident, articulate, and a commercially savvy individual.
