Job Description
As a graduate powertrain calibration engineer, you will be working within the BEG UK team to develop and broaden your proficiency and knowledge in various powertrain calibration topics, while developing a wider understanding of Bosch Engineering GmbH. You will bring a positive and flexible approach and be expected to integrate and work closely with the UK and central German teams, transitioning between the departments when required. The role is a 2 year fixed term role.
* Learning the processes and tools to develop and test various powertrain calibration functions on the test-bench and in-vehicle, across all powertrain variants (petrol, diesel, hybrid, BEV, etc…)
* Working directly with vehicles, software, and algorithms to design and release calibrations for the various powertrain control units to meet customer safety requirements.
* Interacting with customers across different project topics to deliver production-ready calibrations and supporting the technical project management (e.g. project preparation and steering, controlling, quality, cost control, timeline, go to series, ...)
* Ensuring that projects are delivered in a process compliant manner, this also include ensuring high quality (preparation for quality reviews, assessments, lessons learned...)
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
* Degree in a relevant engineering subject (e.g. Automotive, Mechanical, Electronics)
* Communicative and team player
* Business fluent English both written and spoken
* Full UK driving licence
* Right to work in the UK and ability to travel in Europe as required
* Knowledge and professional experience in the automotive/powertrain domain
* Entrepreneurial and business development mindset
Additional Information
We welcome applications from a range of candidates but please note that you must be available to take up this position from September 2025 and have the right to live and work in the UK before the start date as we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
This role will be based in Nuneaton, on a hybrid working pattern of a minimum of two days in the office a week.
