Job Description Job title: Commercial Account Handler Salary: £30,000 Location: Kent OVERVIEW We are seeking a professional and motivated Commercial Account Handler to join our client's team in Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing clients' insurance requirements, providing advice, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role reports to the Branch Director and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients. RESPONSIBILITIES Arrange and secure appropriate cover for new business and renewals Understand clients' risk exposures and insurance needs Maintain records for audit, compliance, and workflow purposes Manage relationships with internal and external brokers Promote their brand, product range, and key differentiators QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Cert CII desired Certificate in Insurance status within two years of starting with the company 18 months/ 2 years of general insurance experience EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS Strong communication and negotiation skills Highly organised and target-driven Ability to quickly develop knowledge of company processes and business goals Good understanding of the Financial Services market and regulatory framework Knowledge of commercial clients and their insurance needs Proficiency in Microsoft Office and account management systems DAY-TO-DAY Liaising with insurers and brokers Managing aged debtors and claims Building and maintaining relationships with industry partners Attend industry events to build relationships and stay updated with new trends BENEFITS Competitive salary Opportunities for professional development Dynamic and collaborative work environment Comprehensive benefits package If you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact me now on 07458 162842 or email us at adminlawesgroup.co.uk
