Pulse Recruit is seeking a Fractional VP of Engineering with a robust Java Engineering background for one of our clients. This role offers a chance to collaborate with an established software engineering team at the forefront of disrupting the digital print sector.
As the Fractional VP of Engineering, you will be an exceptional technical leader responsible for guiding and mentoring a talented team. Your primary focus will be on driving business initiatives and objectives through enhancements and new features of the proprietary platform. Additionally, you will take the lead in advancing initiatives into AI solutions, ensuring that they stay ahead of the curve in technology.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the engineering team in implementing and enhancing features for their proprietary platform.
* Spearhead the integration and development of AI solutions within the product.
* Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
* Engage with stakeholders effectively to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
Qualifications:
* Expertise in Technologies: Proficient in Java, React, Typescript, and mobile application development.
* AI Experience: Proven experience in building proprietary solutions and integrating AI technologies.
* Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams through complex projects.
* Startup/Scaleup Background: Experience within tech startups or scale-ups is preferred.
* Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in managing relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
