Technical Sales Manager – Business Development Manager – Hydraulics – Filter – Shropshire
Brooklyn Recruitment are currently working with a client who sells Hydraulic Filters in the Ludlow area of Shropshire. They are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join their UK team, which is a relatively small team of around 6.
As a Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Manager, you will be out and about on the road a lot with some stays away from home. You would also be expected to go into the office regularly. Your day-to-day role will include:
1. Building relationships with new and existing clients
2. Cold calling / company introductions
3. Client visits to both existing clients and prospects
4. Price negotiation
5. Increasing product and brand visibility
6. Keeping internal systems up to date
7. Other duties as required
To be suitable for this position of Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Manager, you should have held a Technical Sales role previously, ideally selling hydraulic filters (other backgrounds will be considered). It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and are able to travel (including overnight stays). You should also hold a full UK driving license.
