What does the Mechatronics Apprenticeship scheme involve day to day?
This is where Mechanical and Electrical engineering meet Robotics, Electronics, Product Engineering and more. Fixing the machines that make our product. Without you, things won’t just grind to a halt; they’ll stay that way. Every time a problem arises, you’re right there, on the job. Yes, it will be highly pressurised at times, but the career you’ll develop will be amazing and really important in our business’s future.
For the first 22 months of the apprenticeship, you will mainly train at our dedicated training partner's development centre (Toyota, Derby), with some placement weeks based at JCB. The final 22 months you will be mainly based in JCB gaining on-the-job experience.
