Humanities Teacher Location: Doncaster Salary: £140 – £190 per day Start Date: ASAP/February 2025 GSL Education are actively recruiting a highly-motivated and passionate Humanities Teacher to work within a secondary client school located in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The ideal candidate must have experience teaching Geography and/or History to KS3 and KS4 students. Furthermore, they are to work closely with the school’s established Humanities team in promoting the highest standards of teaching and learning to support students of all backgrounds and abilities. The successful candidate will: Hold PGCE in Geography and/or History with Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Bestow deep investment in the advancement of pupils’ learning and success. Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development and use this information to adjust teaching strategies. Be an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who leads by example. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Have an up-to-date CV covering last ten years and supply two valid references from most recent places of employment or academy. Be in possession of an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one immediately (DBS sponsorship is available on conditional basis).
