Do you want to make a difference, working within a stimulating and forward-looking NHS internal audit service?
FTF, the largest Internal Audit Consortium in NHS Scotland, is recruiting to this permanent post working primarily for the Forth Valley Health Board region. You will also work across our three Health Board and six Integrated Joint Board clients as required, using hybrid working.
You will be involved at every stage of reviews covering corporate, clinical, staff, financial and information governance, gaining an understanding of the Client’s objectives, scoping audits, developing audit programmes, and preparing audit reports, within a framework of support and supervision which will allow you to develop your audit skills.
Educated to HND, degree, Association of Accounting Technicians, or have experience in a general broad-based internal audit role, preferably within the Public Sector, you should have a demonstrable track record of achievement as well as excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and be IT literate. Knowledge of NHS policies, practices and procedures would be advantageous as would experience of influencing/effecting improvement and/or data analysis.
While we offer a hybrid working model, the ability to efficiently and reliably travel across our Health Board regions to meet service needs is essential to this role.
