Account Director – Leading a High-Profile Leisure Account at Atlas FM

Reporting to the Head of National Accounts, this is a high-impact leadership role where you will be responsible for fostering strong client relationships, maximising operational efficiency, and ensuring financial performance. You will lead a high-performing team, driving innovation and best practices in facilities management. With a strong commercial mindset and a focus on continuous improvement, you will play a key role in shaping the future of service delivery at Atlas FM.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for key client stakeholders, building and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships.
2. Oversee operational service delivery, ensuring compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
3. Manage budgets, financial performance, and key performance metrics, ensuring efficiency and growth.
4. Lead and develop regional managers and operational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
5. Identify opportunities for innovation in service delivery, enhancing client satisfaction and business performance.
6. Ensure strategic alignment with the client’s evolving needs and expectations.
7. Stay ahead of industry trends, using data-driven insights to optimise service offerings.
8. Champion Atlas FM’s values and promote a culture of transparency, ownership, and high performance.
About You
You are a strategic and commercially minded leader with a passion for delivering outstanding client service and operational excellence. You have a proven ability to drive efficiencies, build strong stakeholder relationships, and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for someone with:
1. Proven experience in account management, contract management, or operational leadership within the leisure or facilities management sector.
2. A strong commercial mindset, with experience in budget and P&L management.
3. Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.
4. Outstanding relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
5. A solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement.
6. Analytical skills, confident in interpreting performance and financial data to drive decision-making.
7. The ability to travel across the UK as required to support client and operational needs.
