Job Title: Chiller Service Technician
Location: Nationwide, UK Field Based, United Kingdom
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chiller Service Technician to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, supporting breakdowns, and commissioning industrial water chillers to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to service calls efficiently and effectively, conducting risk assessments and documenting prior to all works.
* Troubleshoot and support technically challenging breakdowns via computer or phone linkups.
* Commission standard and large capacity products, advising on wider system installation and identifying system issues beyond supply scope.
* Attend and participate in customer meetings with minimal supervision.
* Act as an SME to assist the Training Manager in preparing and delivering courses.
Requirements
* City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration and Air conditioning.
* Full UK Driving license (or equivalent).
* City & Guilds or equivalent in Safe Handling or Refrigerants.
* F Gas qualified.
* High level of technical competence with relevant experience of Carrier and other manufacturer's equipment.
* Experience within a similar role in the HVAC industry, especially chillers.
* HNC / ONC in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
