Job Details IT Support Technician Location : Brighton - Moulsecoomb Salary: £30,505 to £33,882 per annum Reference : IS5448-24-450 Contract: Permanent – Full Time Join our dynamic Technical Services team as an experienced and qualified IT Support Technician. In this role, you will support IT, Media, and Audio-Visual facilities at the Moulsecoomb Campus, including open access computer areas, IT teaching/training rooms, library computer facilities, lecture theatres, and flexible learning spaces. You will assist with maintaining the portfolio of offered IT services and feedback suggestions for improvement. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the effective delivery of significant IT provision to ensure the smooth running of key university events (exam weeks, clearing, conferences). The successful candidate will have: A relevant demonstrable competence and in-depth knowledge gained through considerable work experience in using and supporting Windows, Linux and Mac OS's, PowerShell, MECM, specialist equipment and software in IT, Media, and Audio-Visual services. Organisation skills to be able to prioritise and manage a busy workload with an ability to balance immediate and longer-term objectives Analytical skills to be able to understand and resolve complex problems and issues Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team As a permanent post holder, you will work 37 hours per week, excluding meal breaks, and enjoy opportunities for professional development, a supportive team environment, and the chance to work with state-of-the-art technologies.
