Location: Guildford
Salary: We offer a competitive salary with annual increases throughout the apprenticeship and a range of employee benefits including free higher education as well as access to the Company pension and Share Incentive plan.
What you will be doing:
As a Data Analyst Apprentice in CORDA, you will be working with a team of analytical consultants providing our clients with high-impact, evidence-based advice. During our 4-year Level 6 Analyst Apprenticeship, you will gain a role-related degree while delivering analysis for both BAE Systems business units and external clients in the MOD and wider Government.
What does the Apprenticeship Involve?
Throughout the apprenticeship programme, you will be working on a variety of projects which will enable you to develop analytical skills and learn how to apply these to live problems. Data analytics is a fast-paced, growing area within BAE Systems, and as such, there may be the opportunity to gain experience by undertaking placements across different Business Units as well as your home Business Unit – Digital Intelligence. These placements will provide you with an opportunity to experience how analysis can be used to support a wide breadth of business decisions. You will develop skills and experience in using a range of analytical techniques and toolsets (e.g., Alteryx, R, Tableau, VBA, Python). At the end of the scheme, you will have had a good mix of academic and work-based learning experiences to ensure you develop the skills that will support you and the business in the future, as well as a degree-level qualification.
What Qualification Will You Get?
An undergraduate degree – a BSc/BA (Hons) related to Data Analytics. Once you successfully complete the apprenticeship, you will have a permanent role in our Corda team open to you as well as a Level 6 Digital & Technology Solutions qualification under your belt.
