Business Development Executive | Full time| South East As a Business Development Executive for UKFM, the main purpose of the role is to achieve the overall UKFM budget objectives to support the wider EV Cargo group goals through effective client relationship development and commercial support. The role will suit a highly motivated Sales Executive who is prepared to work using their own initiative to identify commercial opportunities and have the ability to agree and build a growth plan. The Role: As our Business Development Executive, your day-to-day tasks will include; Cultivate and nurture leads, overseeing the entire sales cycle to ensure a seamless transition into operations. Proactively seek out new sales prospects through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media. Efficiently manage and monitor your sales pipeline using advanced CRM tools. Establish, foster, and sustain strategic relationships with potential clientele. Lead and execute marketing initiatives on various social media platforms. Exceed ambitious sales targets. Cultivate a strong network of current and prospective customers. Develop and present competitive pricing solutions for logistics and related services. Act as the primary point of contact for spontaneous inquiries and generate quotations accordingly. Arrange productive business meetings with potential clients to comprehend their specific logistics requirements. What we need from you: Essential Skills A minimum of 3 years' proven experience in driving sales within the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry. A solid track record of successful Business Development. A strong drive to pursue new sales opportunities. Exceptional negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be IT literate. Outstanding communication and telephone skills, accompanied by robust administrative and customer service abilities. An ability to excel under pressure while independently driving initiatives. Experience in meeting and surpassing targets and KPIs.
