As part of this, you will be proofreading original research articles and case reports for JFMS and JFMS Open Reports, as well as iCatCare information resources, and liaising with authors and the journals’ publisher.In addition, the successful candidate will be assisting with the subediting and proofreading of veterinary practitioner-oriented Clinical Spotlight articles and conference abstracts, and will support with promotional, marketing and publishing activities, such as awards and translations.The role involves liaison with a wide range of stakeholders - the two publishing organisations for the journals, iCatCare and the FelineVMA, and its publisher, Sage Publications, as well as the journals’ editors, authors and reviewers. About you To be successful in this role, you will need to have meticulous attention to detail, proven experience in proof-reading scientific journals and strong interpersonal skills.
