Job Title: Personal Assistant\n Type of Business: Public Sector Organisation\n Location: Birmingham (B1) with hybrid working available\n Hourly Rate : £11.95 to £15.73\n Hours: Part time Monday to Friday, mornings or school hours\n Start Date: Immediately available\n Length of Contract: 8 to 12 weeks\n\nGi Group are now seeking to appoint a temporary Personal Assistant to our Public Sector client based in central Birmingham. Reporting to the Regional Director, the Personal Assistant will provide daily administrative and diary support and management of both the Regional Director and Head of Region.\n\n Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant\n\nPro-active diary management and forward planning.\n Ensuring that regular and adhoc internal and external meetings and site visits are scheduled and organised effectively,\nInbox and correspondence management where required, including identifying and communicating urgent actions.\nCoordinating office facilities, room bookings, meeting papers, correspondence, catering, business travel and accommodation arrangements as required.\nDrafting agendas, circulating papers, taking minutes and monitoring/contributing to the relevant teams chats where appropriate.\n Experience and Knowledge\n\nAble to intelligently assess and anticipate needs.\nProven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similiar role.\nExperience of dealing with confidential information with discretion, tact and sensitivity.\nA high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.\nProven experience of pro-actively managing complex and changing diaries.\nProven ability to work effectively under pressure, juggle conflicting demands and manage multiple tasks.\nExcellent IT skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 365), setting up/managing physical and virtual meetings (Teams or similar).GI Group are an equal opportunities employer who demonstrate respect for diversity and adhere to all applicable legislation, encouraging equal opportunities in recruitment, and establishing working practices to safeguard against prejudice.
