Position: Communications and Engagement Co-ordinator Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 (dependant on experience) Location: Hybrid, home-working with some days in our Newcastle offices (Gosforth, Dinnington, West Denton). Project co-ordination and administration: co-ordinating projects and engaging people to meet project objectives, outcomes, and deadlines. Providing assurance for senior colleagues that data and information we have is accurate and can be relied upon. Content production: development and review of engaging content and communications (printed and digital), for colleagues and customers. Job Description Role Objective To provide project co-ordination and administrative support to the Communications and Engagement Team, with a focus on our Learning Disabilities department. Accountability The post holder is accountable to the Director of Business Development and Innovation and will report to our Communications and Engagement Lead. Key Responsibilities: The main duties of this role will include: Co-ordination and administration support for projects within the Communications and Engagement Team and the Senior Management Team. Examples include: Central communications inc. promotion of, and engaging colleagues in wellbeing initiatives and national awareness events. Website content production such as case studies and news stories. Colleague engagement and customer surveys. Event management, including colleague engagement sessions and external recruitment events. Recruitment campaigns using social media, printed publications, and outdoor spaces. Task management, ensuring regular and reactive tasks are carried out to highest standard and agreed deadlines. Such examples include: Weekly communications and news. Ad-hoc communications. Running reports for local services on engagement projects. Managing and updating lists. Ensuring processes are followed and information is recorded and documented as appropriate. Analysing and presenting information in various formats such as; spreadsheets, charts, presentations, and written reports. Management of shared communications mailbox, picking up and responding to queries and seeing through to completion. Attend any required meetings, produce, and circulate any actions. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proactive approach to problem solving and ability to work under pressure and own initiative. Experience in developing professional relationships with others. Ability to extract, collate and present data. IT literate with strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and social media or marketing skills. An understanding of Learning Disabilities is desirable.
