Behaviour Mentor – Bramhall, Stockport – September Start
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Bramhall, Stockport, for a full-time Behaviour Mentor to begin in September. This diverse and inclusive school is well known for its supportive staff team and commitment to student wellbeing.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in behaviour support, youth work, or mentoring, who is passionate about helping young people succeed.

Start Date: September
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students displaying challenging behaviour or emotional needs.
* Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils to help improve their engagement and behaviour in school.
* Work closely with the pastoral team, SENCO and teaching staff to implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
* Support students both inside and outside of the classroom, helping them to stay on track with their learning.
* Assist in developing and maintaining behaviour support plans and monitor progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties.
* Be calm, empathetic, and resilient under pressure.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have a genuine passion for supporting students in overcoming barriers to learning.
* Be confident managing behaviour and using de-escalation strategies effectively.
