What you will do:
We have an exciting opportunity for qualified General Sonographers to join our small friendly team. ENT or MSK experience is desirable, but not essential as we are offering training opportunities in specialist areas.
The General Ultrasound service extends over several sites: University Hospital Crosshouse, Ayrshire Central Hospital, University Hospital Ayr and East Ayrshire Community Hospital offering care closer to patient’s homes.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You must be educated to DMU or Postgraduate Diploma level in General Ultrasound and have relevant post qualification clinical experience.
HCPC Registration or equivalent.
Hours:
37 hours per week - You will be required to work flexible 7 days period shifts Monday to Sunday. You would be expected to take part in weekend and Public Holiday cover also.
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role. Staff will be expected to travel as required to work in all NHS Ayrshire and Arran sites.
