Clinical Fellow - Accident and Emergency

We are seeking someone to join our enthusiastic and motivated Emergency Department to start ASAP. Working in the ED with direct shop floor supervision from our 11 consultants and 18 experienced ED middle grades. The post offers protected weekly departmental teaching and benefits from educational supervision by a consultant as well as many other educational opportunities on shift.

The team approach is completely embedded in the department and all staff are wholly focused on providing a fast and effective patient service.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing direct clinical care to all patients
2. Formulating a diagnosis and developing a management strategy or plan for each patient
3. Providing patient management in accordance with Emergency Department protocols, practice standards, and Trust policies
4. Providing clear and precise written and electronic documentation of patient care
5. Providing advice and support to junior doctors on all aspects of emergency medicine
6. Participating in the current shift rota pattern
7. Participating and leading on clinical audits
