Purpose of the role
Design, develop, and implement solutions to complex business problems, collaborating with stakeholders to meet needs while balancing technology risks and business delivery, promoting consistency.
Accountabilities
* Design and develop solutions as products, incorporating modern software engineering practices and automation tools.
* Apply workload placement strategies to maximize cloud benefits like elasticity, serverless, and containerization.
* Ensure designs incorporate security principles and meet resiliency standards.
* Balance risks and controls to deliver business and technological value.
* Use standard solutions where applicable and contribute to their evolution.
* Support operational teams with fault finding and performance issues.
* Assess solution impacts in terms of risk, capacity, and costs, including ongoing operational costs.
* Develop architecture inputs for governance compliance, including design artifacts for privacy, security, and records management.
