Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Youth Justice Worker in the Black Country.The Youth Justice Worker will support youth females who offend, and are known to either the Youth Offending Service or West Midlands Police. The project acknowledges the importance of multi-agency working to deliver a trauma informed, safe, and rehabilitative interventions in order to deter youths from offending. In addition, the support will assist youths to develop key skills in order to be an active member of society and establish motivation for a prosperous future.As part of the project, the advocate will work across a number of sites and Youth offending services to deliver interventions, as well as maintaining professional relationships with youth offending staff, police staff and local partners in order to establish a presence that allows us to access the best support for our youths. This is a full-time 37.5 hours (Mon - Fri), permanent role, offering a salary of £24,065 per annum based on experience. Travel will be required.Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Deliver evidence based one to one interventions, group work and advice in a variety of locations such as estates and Youth Offending Service Estates with an aim to deter young people from offending behaviour.
