About the Role
As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing and resolving claims efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal obligations while maintaining a high standard of service for our customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating and resolving complex claims while keeping policyholders informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a full caseload of claims, working within delegated authority principles and escalating where necessary.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters, policyholders, and third-party contractors.
3. Negotiate claim settlements within delegated authority limits.
4. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the electronic case management system.
5. Act as the in-house expert for claims-related queries and provide guidance to the team.
