Role: Biology Teacher As a Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of Biology. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of physical principles and their applications. Your role will include: Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Biology lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4, and KS5). Encouraging students to apply scientific concepts and problem-solving skills in various contexts. Supporting students in their academic development, providing guidance and assistance when needed. Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure a holistic approach to education. Contributing to the development of the Biology curriculum. Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Biology. Ensuring the effective delivery of the Biology syllabus. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Biology department. Key Qualities We Are Looking For: A strong passion for Biology and a desire to support students' scientific journeys. A recognized teaching qualification in Biology, or equivalent. Experience in teaching Biology to secondary-aged students is highly desirable. A passion for developing young people academically. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a nurturing and progressive team.
