Software Development Manager - Power Platform
Location: Wiltshire (1 day per week in office, 4 days remote)
Salary: Up to £63,000
12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead their team during an exciting digital transformation period. You'll play a crucial role in guiding their 5-person development team through their technology transition, focusing on Microsoft Power Platform implementations and Agile delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of 5 developers in an Agile SCRUM environment
* Implement and oversee robust source control and version management practices
* Shape technical strategy with a focus on Power Platform solutions
* Create tailored development plans to support team growth
* Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and quality standards
* Act as the technical authority for the development team
* Facilitate sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders across the business
* Influence strategic business decisions related to their technical infrastructure
What My Client Is Looking For
* Proven leadership experience in an Agile/SCRUM environment
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse)
* Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and advanced understanding of source and version control
* Background in low-code development using Microsoft technologies
* Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Ability to mentor developers on Agile methodologies and best practices
* Track record of delivering projects using Agile frameworks
* Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
* Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
