We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to join our team with complex care exprience.The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need, including those with specific health conditions. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and assistance in their daily activities. experience with challenging behaviours, mental health and substance mis-use is important\n\nDuties\n\n * Provide home care support to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.\n\n * Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.\n\n * Must be PMVA trained\n\n * Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met.\n\n * Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to promote positive interactions.\n\n * Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.\n\n * Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or health status.\n\n * Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.\n\nFeatures & Benefits\n\n * Dedicated consultant\n\n * Consistent work and block bookings available\n\n * Great earning potential\n\n * Weekly pay\n\n * Flexibility to work as much or as little as you like\n\nSkills\n\n * Experience in home care or nursing home settings is highly desirable.\n\n * Candidate Must have experience with challenging behaviours, mental health and substance mis-use\n\n * Strong understanding of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.\n\n * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families.\n\n * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.\n\n * Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals requiring support.\n\n * Strong organisational skills to manage multiple client needs efficiently.\n\n * Staff ratios would need to be 2:1, at least initially, with skills in managing behaviour which challenges, including safe restraint, and ideally minimal recourse to medication to sedate.
