Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Ridgmont, Junction 13 Client: Leading Furniture Company Salary: £12.00 - £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience) Shift Pattern: Any 5 days out of 7, rotating shifts of 6am-3pm and 1pm-10pm Transport: Own transport is required Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join a busy and thriving team at our client's furniture distribution centre in Ridgmont, Junction 13. This role involves heavy lifting and physical tasks, so candidates must be prepared for manual labour and long hours on their feet. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently and safely load/unload heavy furniture items. Assist with the movement and storage of goods within the warehouse. Ensure goods are organised, properly labelled, and stored in the correct locations. Maintain a high standard of health and safety throughout the warehouse. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations. Essential Requirements: Strong physical fitness due to the heavy lifting required. Must have own transport to commute to the location. Ability to work rotating shifts (6am-3pm and 1pm-10pm) and flexible to work any 5 days out of 7. Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential. Benefits: Competitive pay rate of £12.00 - £13.50 per hour. Opportunity to progress to a Porter role after passing the induction and working at least 2 days in the warehouse (subject to manager's approval). Full introduction, site tour training provided.
