Title: FPGA Verification Engineer Salary Range: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience Office locations considered - Burton, Bristol or Glasgow. Frazer-Nash Consultancy have an established capability in the design and verification of FPGAs within nuclear control systems. We continue to grow and develop, and aspire to be one of the market leading FPGA consultancies. We have an immediate requirement for Programmable Hardware Engineers of all levels to conduct verification activities to some of the UK’s most complex engineering programmes. Experienced candidates will have solid relevant experience, including demonstrable experience of VHDL/SV coding and verifying FPGAs utilising verification methodologies such as OSVVM or UVM. You will have an important role in a team delivering some of our largest programmes of work in conjunction with our clients in the UK’s national infrastructure and national security. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, often alongside the client. You will deliver tasks to time, cost and quality expectations and you will assist to develop future business. The qualified applicant will meet the following minimum requirements: · Expertise in VHDL/SV · Writing detailed verification test plans · Developing design verification testbenches for FPGA modules/systems · OSVVM/UVM · Debugging collaboration with design teams to achieve 100% code coverage metrics · Functional coverage definition, implementation and analysis · Safety or mission critical development background It is to your advantage if you meet any or all the following additional requirements : · Experience with version control e.g. Git/SVN · Experience with tool chain scripting e.g. tcl/python Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and will be required to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
