Are you ready to take your career to the next level and lead a dynamic team in providing exceptional out-of-hours care? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to step into the role of Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner for our Hospital at Night team. As a Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), you will be at the forefront of delivering and leading high-quality care during the critical out-of-hours. This pivotal role combines your clinical expertise with your leadership skills to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
The position involves an 80/20 split between clinical duties and management/leadership responsibilities, ensuring you remain clinically prominent while also shaping the future of our Hospital at Night service.
1. Clinical Duties (80%): Continue to provide outstanding patient care as an ANP during night and weekend shifts, utilising your advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage a variety of acute conditions.
2. Leadership and Management (20%): Lead, manage and support the Hospital at Night team by providing clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Oversee the implementation of clinical guidelines, protocols, and policies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in patient care.
We are looking for an experienced ANP with extensive experience. Your clinical expertise, particularly in an out-of-hours setting, will be crucial to the role. Strong leadership and management skills are essential. You should be able to inspire and guide your colleagues, driving high standards of care and professional development. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Have strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make sound clinical decisions in high-pressure situations.
