Job Title: National Account Manager
Location: Kent, UK (2 days in the office)
Package: Up to £65k + Bonus!

The company caters to wholesalers, re-packers, and the food service industry across the European market. Role Overview:
The primary goal of this role is to drive revenue growth within the UK market, with a particular focus on engaging re-packers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction across national accounts. Growth will also be supported through market research and industry events. This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional with a strong background in B2B sales and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of national B2B accounts, ensuring growth and profitability.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including procurement teams, buyers, and senior decision-makers.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and potential accounts.
* Develop and implement account strategies aligned with company objectives.
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Analyse sales data, track performance metrics, and report on key account progress.
* Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
* Sales experience: Comparable experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in the B2B food industry.
* Motivation and Enthusiasm: Open-minded, driven, and passionate about achieving results.
* Business Development: Capable of facilitating the growth of profitable business and building long-term, sustainable relationships.
* Communication Skills: Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and positive approach.
* Team Player: Collaborative and able to work effectively within a team environment.
* Travel Flexibility: Willing and able to travel to customer locations within the UK, and visit the headquarters in the Netherlands.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of CRM systems such as Navision or Exact is a plus
* Additional Requirement: Own car
