Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior RF IC Design Engineer to join a leader in the area of RF IC Design for cellular applications. You will have the opportunity to be part of a highly experienced RF IC Design team working on state-of-the-art 6G RF products in advanced CMOS processes.
Your responsibilities will include the specification, design, implementation and verification of challenging Analog and RF circuit blocks or sub systems for 6G RF ICs such as filters, low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers or mixers. Your focus will be on delivering leading edge analog and RF circuit blocks with excellent performance on first silicon.
PhD or Masters degree qualified within the relevant field, the successful Senior RF IC Design Engineer will have a minimum of 5 years industrial experience with strong experience in designing RF circuits in advanced CMOS technologies (16nm or below). A strong analytical approach is required with a clear track record of success and delivery. You will have an excellent understanding of modern transceiver architectures and a good working knowledge of RF IC layout optimisation. Experience with the Cadence Analog Design environment is essential and experience with advanced circuit simulation tools and EM simulation tools is ideal.
Desirable skills include:
* Excellent knowledge of RF system analysis and able to work effectively with RF System and Application Engineers to define the specification
* Good understanding of RF performance requirements for cellular systems
* Experience in high dynamic range RF measurements
