Looking at autism through a sensory lens
On Friday, 5 April, the talk topic was “Looking at autism through a sensory lens,” presented by Specialist Occupational Therapist Helen Cranstone. This event was a workshop-style presentation, encouraging discussion and exploration, of the challenges faced by autistic young people with additional needs.
As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, Helen specialists in sensory integration. She has worked in the fields of autism, learning disabilities and mental health for more than 25 years.
