CMA's client is a dynamic, high-end retail business who is currently looking to appoint a Finance Manager into a crucial role to manage the day-to-day finance for their Poole, Dorset based office.
This is an ideal opportunity to join a growing international business and secure a role that gives you ownership of an accounting function for a £28M T/O business. Our client is part of a larger £200M plus Group and they are expanding.
What will the Finance Manager role involve?
1. Working closely with the Group Finance Director, overseeing the delivery of end-to-end finance operations;
2. Managing a small, close-knit finance team and ensuring this is supported well;
3. Process improvement and efficiency initiatives within the finance department;
4. Month-end accounting including balance sheet reconciliations.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:
1. Qualified or nearly qualified CIMA/ACCA or ACA, able to demonstrate practical, technical skills;
2. A track record of developing and managing a small finance team;
3. Strong technical accounting skills, confident with multiple entities and oversees tax is highly beneficial;
4. Communication skills are key, able to business partner at all levels.
