SEN Teaching Assistant
Monarch Education are actively recruiting, in collaboration with an academy trust for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants, ideally with experience or a passion for special educational needs, to work in a client Special Educational Needs School located in the BA14 postcode in Trowbridge.

These exciting opportunities are both full-time and long-term. The school settings are friendly and culturally have a family-oriented environment, offering support and guidance. The hours vary from 8.30-15:25, Monday to Friday, and term time only.
The school is ideally looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who understand and have experience of working with special educational needs, with either children or adults. For the right candidate, this position will go permanent, with the position starting ASAP/February 2025. These opportunities can lead to securing a permanent position at the school.
In this school, you will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis, between the ages of 3-16+, with various SEND needs including autism, global delay, and profound multiple learning disabilities (responsibilities can also include personal care). You'll be supporting students alongside the classroom teacher to boost attainment and aid their development, both socially and in their education. Training is provided for personal development in each role.
Suitable candidates can be any of the following:
1. Qualified Teaching Assistant/s
2. Previous experience of speech and language therapy with either children or adults
3. Experience in youth work
4. Previous experience as a probation officer
5. Previous health care or support/social working experience
6. Graduate in Psychology
7. Previous SEN Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant with experience
8. 3-6 Months Experience of working with children
9. Sports Coach background
10. Available to start ASAP!
