We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our band 5 rotation working in friendly teams that are based across the High Peak and Dales locality, within North Derbyshire.
To deliver high quality physiotherapy treatments to adults with a complex variety of conditions working across a variety of community care/rotational settings within the High Peak & Derbyshire Dales localities.
To undertake assessments of adults who are referred to the Integrated Care Teams and services requiring physiotherapy input and to be able to adapt to ever changing patient and service needs.
To be an integral member of the Integrated Community Team (ICT) delivering high quality, multi-disciplinary health and wellbeing interventions.
To be an active member of the wider Physiotherapy workforce of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust and willing to work wherever the service requires.
To be responsible for maintaining competency to practice through maintenance of professional registration, Continuous Professional Development activities and maintain a portfolio which reflects personal and professional development and evidence of learning beyond registration.
Main duties of the job
You will rotate between the bedded care, community therapy and out-patient physiotherapy teams.
This post is an excellent opportunity for a newly-qualified physiotherapist to develop their skills and knowledge working within supportive environments with access to a preceptorship programme.
You will need to have a BSc/Diploma in physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC or an undergraduate student nearing course completion.
As the post will require some working in the community and the need to be able to work from different bases you will need a current driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Some of the teams operate over a 7 day service.
If you can demonstrate good communication skills, have the ability to plan and organise, competent, evidence based clinical care delivery we want to hear from you.
As a clinical employee it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out in the DCHS Way.
