This role will suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is looking to join a dynamic and diverse company, valuing small gardens to multi-million pound listed structures.

About the Senior Quantity Surveyor Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will use your experience and knowledge to manage projects through the entire lifecycle, including preparing estimates, cost plans and tender documentation using various forms of measurement and contracts.
Other responsibilities include:
• Utilise best practice tools and processes to support project delivery in Quantity Surveying.
• Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle.
• Demonstrate Local Authority/Public Sector Experience.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans and tender documentation using various forms of measurement and contracts.
• Be proficient in measurement for Schedule of Works and Bills of Quantities production.
• Offer pricing variations throughout the duration of the contract and provide cost advice.
• Attend site meetings and provide input and support to the project.
About You – The Senior Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field, with post degree experience as well as being RICS-qualified (MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor or equivalent) or working towards it.
Other requirements include:
• Working knowledge of industry-standard contracts, such as JCT and NEC.
• Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge.
• Experience in cost forecasting, reporting, cost control, risk management, procurement option advice, and contract administration.
• Experience in the education, health, and housing sectors.
• Solid commercial awareness.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel and hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
