Job summary This is a key role within the operations structure reporting directly to the Head of Operations and managing the 'administration line' for the County. This role will assist in the smooth running of the County, provide additional resilience at a local level and be a full member of the County Management team. This role will provide leadership to the staff working within the County, provide direct support to the Head Of Operations and other senior operational staff working within the County and provide a' primary point of contact for staff working in other Directorates in Trust HQ. The County Business Manager 'will act as the link between administrative functions at a County level and Trust HQ. Main duties of the job Provide line management, direction, welfare and support to the Operations Officer Support role and Apprentices. This includes undertaking career conversations, supporting staff health and wellbeing and all aspects of line management. Work directly to the Head Of Operations and with the Deputy Head Of Operationsto ensure the efficient and effective operation of the County. Provide administrative expertise and guidance to the senior operational managers. This includes assisting in workload planning, helping to forecast forwards and assisting the Operations Officers in their day to day management role (particularly when they are acting as Lead Operations Officers in the County Hub/Office).
