Are you someone that enjoys working with people? Do you have the ability to command respect and build positive relationships? Do you want to make a difference and support us in helping each young person find their next best steps?
The purpose of this role is to support students and staff in school with our wide-ranging careers information and guidance programme. The role will be varied and will include administrative duties, such as liaising with employers and arranging events, as well as working with individuals and helping them explore their possible futures. This role is ideal for someone who is self-disciplined, organised, and confident in finding solutions. No two days are alike and each day will have challenges; equally, this role has the benefit of school holidays. The 5 additional days beyond our term time include 4 days in August when results are released and an additional day that will support events. The ideal candidate will be willing to undertake a L6 qualification in Careers Advice and Guidance to supplement the provision we already have in place. This role is hugely rewarding when you are able to see young people enthused by their possible future.
The actual salary is pro-rata as above and paid in twelve equal monthly installments.
To arrange an informal discussion about the post or visit to the school, please contact Miss Williams, the Headteacher’s PA, at dwl@sslp.uk.
Application forms and further details are available to download from www.cc-hs.com/jobs. Completed forms should be sent to jobs@sslp.uk.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 9am on Monday 10th March 2025.
