We are recruiting an EMEA Alliance Director to join the team located either in UK or Continental Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the EMEA businesses ensuring they run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. The key responsibilities of this EMEA wide role include client, task and people management, budget control, service delivery, innovation and QHSE and customer satisfaction, in line with contractual obligations. Our Global Client account compromises of 45 locations over 15 countries. Responsibility level: Experienced Senior Director to control and oversee all business operations, people, growth, and retention opportunities for the EMEA account. This will be the most senior position in the EMEA account and will be responsible for the overall success of the integrated business with this prime, blue-chip client. The role will be one of strategist and leader who is able to steer the account in the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission, and long-term goals. Strong crisis management skills are also essential to ensure growth and retention are successfully delivered. The goal is to ensure the client account is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines. - Develop and execute business strategies for the EMEA account to attain CBRE & client goals. - Provide strategic advice and reporting to CBRE to deliver an accurate operational view of the client account, profitability, opportunities and client relationships. - Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities. - Communicate and maintain trust relationships with stakeholders, business partners and any relevant authorities. - Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the client's management to understand needs. - Oversee the client account financial performance, growth, and other business services integration from within CBRE. - Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of Senior Leadership Team (SLT) providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance - Act as EMEA single point of contact and CBRE/client relations representative of the client account in ways that strengthen its profile. - Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to act while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. - Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal. - Create and implement a culture of innovation and continuous business improvement, including developing account annual plans with measurable activities. - Stay current with technological & operational changes within the FM, PjM & TM industries and evaluate their possible use and benefit to the client account. - Develop leadership potential and provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees, including diversity representation. Experience - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. - Previous experience working for a company within the Oil and Gas industry or from similar industrial, regulated business. - Must speak English fluently. - Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. - Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems. - Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function. - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. - Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. - Background in delivering innovation. - Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. - Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the client and company business. - Strong understanding of business finance and measures of performance. - Familiarity with management best practices. - Proven experience and strong track record as Senior Director. - Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans. - Ability to create and nurture client trust and loyalty.
