Overview
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our ever-growing and dynamic team in our Electrical and Mechanical division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for booking and scheduling all works and electrical and mechanical engineers, managing all projects to include correct costs, cost centers, variations, and completion documentation. The Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our users and fellow employees.
Duties
1. Following any instruction from Helpdesk Manager
2. Book and schedule all works and engineers
3. Input leads, tasks, and quotations
4. Organise documentation
5. Approve job cards whilst monitoring vehicle tracker data
6. Progress jobs to invoice stage
7. Complete ownership of engineers throughout their working day
8. Open new projects
9. Manage all data input on customer portals
10. Complete paperwork for every project, i.e., gas and electrical certification
11. Complete client engagement - before, during, and post
12. Key client ownership
13. Follow pre-written scripts and procedures
14. Manage all projects to include correct costs, cost centres, variations, and completion documentation
15. Contractor works orders
16. Purchase orders
17. Answer phone, action where applicable, and relay messages accordingly
Other qualities and requirements:
1. Previous FM/Helpdesk experience essential
2. Smart appearance
3. Good telephone manner
4. Punctual
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Excellent customer service skills
7. Competent in the use of all Microsoft Office programs
8. Able to prioritise work whilst working under pressure
9. Flexibility with hours of work to cope with work demands
10. Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
11. Committed to ongoing personal development/training
