Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Shaw who are actively seeking a Teaching Assistant in year 2 to work both with small groups and 1:1 with pupils who have been diagnosed with different Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will be working in a good rated inclusive school that offers a broad and balanced curriculum for all pupils throughout the school. You must also obtain a Level 2 Safeguarding Course (We can offer training for this qualification). The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school as soon as possible.
The Role:
* Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities
* Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals
* Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN
* Collaborating with other staff members and professionals to ensure the holistic development of students
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
