Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Overview: Psychology Graduate aspiring to become an Education or Clinical Psychologist.
You will work with students aged 3-18 with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 support to students with Mild Learning Difficulties and Speech and Language difficulties.
2. Work with students exhibiting a variety of behaviours, maintaining patience and professionalism.
3. Understand and apply context to the needs of each student.
Qualifications:
1. Psychology Graduate or equivalent.
2. Desire to gain practical experience in a SEN setting.
This role is an excellent opportunity to increase your experience working with SEN pupils, as all students will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). It is a valuable stepping stone for those looking to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy or Educational Psychology.
