Fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave until 20.03.2026
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week (Monday: 0800-1700, Tuesday: 0900-1730, Wednesday: 0830-1630, Thursday: 0900-1630, Friday: 0800-1630)

The Breast Imaging department is part of the diagnostic imaging team at MKUH and provides the National Breast Screening (NHSBSP) and symptomatic imaging service for the population of Milton Keynes.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join our breast imaging team as a Breast Imaging Assistant.

A flexible approach to the needs of the department is essential as there is a requirement for evening and possible weekend work.

The successful candidate will collaborate and communicate with the breast team in a wide range of clinical and clerical procedures as you support and contribute to each patient journey.
* To work as part of the Breast Care Unit multidisciplinary team providing a screening and symptomatic service to the population of Milton Keynes.
* To assist the Radiographic, Radiological and Clerical staff in a wide range of clinical, technical, and clerical procedures undertaken within the Breast Imaging Department of Milton Keynes Hospital.
* Follow departmental systems of work when undertaking clinical and clerical tasks.
